$59.95
This Cranston Station kit is based on the New Haven Railroad’s station that once stood in Cranston, Rhode Island (southwest of Providence). According to NYNH&H Railroad Company records, this station was built in 1870, retired on 09/15/38 and removed September 1940. The photos shown here are dated 06/26/1916 and the drawings used are dated 03/30/1911. As indicated by the privy at the rear, there was no water or sewer provided at this station and appartently no electricity as the last records from 09/04/30 still show oil lamps being used. Cranston was once the home of the large Cranston Print Works whose workers no doubt accounted for most of the activity at this station. N Scale model measures approximately 3½”(L) X 2¾”(W) X 1¾”(H) .
