Worcester Union Station V3.0 – N

$299.95

The Worcester Union Station still stands today in Worcester, Massachusetts just off of I-290. It was originally built in 1911 to serve the New Haven, Boston & Maine and New York Central Railroads.  It fell into a deteriorated condition in the 1970’s but was thankfully renovated and reopened in 1999.  It now serves Amtrak and Boston MTA passenger trains.  Providence & Worcester, CSX, Conrail, Guilford and PanAM trains have all passed this station on a regular basis.  This kit was developed from actual architectural drawings of the renovated station. This V3.0 kit includes an ALL-NEW 11″ x17″ sheet of photo-etched windows, doors, ornate grating, entrance canopy and railroad frieze as well as two(2) dozen benches, baggage carts & hand trucks. Also included is over 100 metal and resin custom castings, a full color “stained glass” glazing sheet, seven(7) 11″ x 17″ micro-plywood sheets of laser-cut pieces and 25 pages of illustrated instructions. At over 36,000 SQUARE SCALE FEET it is likely the largest N-Scale kit ever produced !  The N-Scale model measures approximately 18″A x 16″B x 20″C x 5″D x 12″H (see TOP VIEW PHOTO for dimensions).  THIS ITEM IS AVAILABLE AS A DIRECT SALE ONLY.
