$89.95
This Central of New Jersey Standard Two-Story Station kit is based on the drawings used in the restoration of the former Central of New Jersey station in Flemington, New Jersey. These drawings are based on the orignal design of this station as it was built in 1865 (see photo left) and other nearly identical stations of this design located in Glen Gardner, Bloomsbury, Bayonne, Three Bridges, Elizabeth Port, Greenville, Plainfield and Neshanic Station, New Jersey. Of these stations, only those in Flemington and Neshanic Station still exists today. The stations at Bayonne and Greenville featured a flat roof design which is provided as an option in this kit (see photo right). The color codes provided in these instructions uses the original color scheme of the Flemingtion Station based on actual paint chips used during the restoration process. Our thanks to Pickell Architecture and Keith Muldowney for their assistance in creating this kit.
