Cutter Sleigh – Etched Brass Kit (N)

‘Making-A-Scene Etched’ kits are created from finely etched brass components that have been designed for ease of assembly which is assisted by full-color illustrated instructions (see sample page).  Assembly usually takes less than an hour and no soldering or special tools are required… just snip, fold and glue !  The Fuller Buggy Company of Jackson, Michigan were extensive buggy and sleigh builders in the early 1900’s.  Cutter sleighs such as this two-passenger example were mostly made and decorated by hand.  Other variations of this design included a second and third seat as well as a rear storage enclosure.
