Bishop Creek Power & Light represents a steam-powered generation plant built in the early 1900’s that is fueled by coal or oil received by rail. This fuel is burned in the boilers to create steam that spins the turbines housed in the Steam Plant building. The electricity generated by these turbines is transferred to Generation Building where it is prepared for distribution to Substation located behind it. From this Substation, wires can be strung to your layout’s towns and cities. The Generation Building also contains a business office that can be used by your miniature citizens to complain about and pay their electric bills ! The finished kit measures 7″Dx 9″Wx 6″H.
