Racquette Lake Navigation Company v2.0 & The Hudson – N Scale Kits Box Set

$99.95

The Racquette Lake Navigation Company is a two-track car slip and apron that allows for loading and unloading of rail cars on to carfloats or ferries. It is based on a Pacific Northwestern prototype that was still in use through the 1970’s. The control house and towers house the mechanism that allows the apron to be raised and lowered to accommodate different ship and tide heights. The other end of the apron is supported by the apron base which can be built into the shoreline of a layout or module. The completed model measures approximately 4¼”L X 4″W x 5″H which allows for an off-layout transfer point without a large investment of real estate !!!

This completely re-designed laser-cut kit is a perfect match for our ALL NEW carfloat kit, The Hudson (#10061). This kit is inspired by the hundreds of carfloat that used to ply the waters across bays, rivers and lakes where a railroad bridge was not practical. This particular version measures 162′ long and 42′ wide with a simplified two-track design that avoids the complexity of installing an onboard turnout. The deck design utilizes standard Atlas code 80 flex-track which eliminates the need to hand-lay individual rails. This laser-cut multi-media kit also features rub strip, hatch, bumper & bollard details and an internal support system. The completed model measures approximately 12¼”Lx3″Wx1″H and can hold up to six(6) standard 50′ freight cars.

This specially priced ‘Box Set’ includes one(1) of each kit at a $10.00 SAVINGS !!!

THIS OFFER IS AVAILABLE FOR DIRECT RETAIL SALES ONLY. N-SCALE TRACK & ROLLING STOCK ARE NOT INCLUDED.
